Premium pay is additional pay authorized by Title 5, United States Code, for overtime, night, holiday, Sunday work, and other types of work. The bureaus are authorized to determine an employee's entitlement to premium pay. Refer to the menu/index for specific types of work ordered or performed for which premium pay is authorized.
The Servicing Personnel Office can provide information on which form is used to request, in advance, approval for certain types of premium pay Other premium pay is automatically paid based on employee's regularly scheduled work.
